Bandung

I know it's kind of too late for my Bandung post but I promised this post, so here goes..

I boarded the plane to Bandung in the morning on December 27th. Like always, Zahir sent me to KLIA but this time he couldn't wait for me to check in because he had to rush to his class. My family and I were late to check in, so we didn't really had the time to eat breakfast. And if you didn't already know, breakfast is the most vital meal for me. I love breakfasts and to not eat breakfast just made me grumpy. So I was nagging and ranting to Mom the whole time in KLIA, insisting we get some Sausage McMuffin with egg at McDonald's. Unfortunately we didn't have much time to even stop for breakfast in the airport, so I had to bare with my empty stomach till I get on to the plane to have my breakfast.

I've never liked a plane without a tv screen in front of my seat but since the flight to Bandung only takes a couple of hours, I didn't mind. I was planning to sleep the whole way anyway because I had to wake up so early to get ready that morning. As soon as I got on to the plane, the only thing that was on my mind was, "when are they going to serve the food????" Like the stewards could read my mind, they served our lunch right after the plane took off. Thank God..

I chose briyani rice with fish but they were finished, so I had no choice but to take the turkey ham with veges. Like it or not, my stomach was grumbling! As expected, I didn't finish the turkey but not because it didn't taste good but because I was full. I only finished the veges and left a few slices of hams. And my most favorite part of the meal on Malaysia Airlines is of course, Ferrero Roche :) I was being clumsy the whole way on the plane. I don't know what had gotten into me but I knocked down my drink, TWICE. I had to change my seat because my seat was getting soaked. Guess I was over excited. Harrr

When we touched down, I was kind of shocked to see how tiny the airport was. They didn't even have the tunnel that connects to the plane doors to the airport. So we had to got off the plane through the portable stairs and walked(yes, walk as in using our own legs!) from the plane to the airport. And don't get me started on how tiny the immigration counters and stuffs. The immigration counters were combined with the baggage claim and yet it will still be smaller than a classroom in my primary school.
When we found all of our luggages, we walked out to find our driver, Pak Otang. He was standing right in front of the arrivals gate holding a sign that says "Mr. Abd Kadir", which was my dad. He drove us straight to our apartment hotel in Ciumbuleuit.
We didn't have to check in because a guy already helped us to check in before we even got there, so the only thing we had to do was.. nothing. We just waited for our luggages to be sent by the bellboy and that was it. The service was fabulous! After we freshen ourselves up, we asked Pak Otang to drive us to any factory outlet as Bandung is well known for it's factory outlets. Pak Otang drove us to our first outlet, Grande. I had to admit, I forgot about my family once I saw everything in that outlet and that was only our first outlet! :p The greatest thing about these outlets are that everything is original, not imitation! However Dad reminded me not to buy too many things as we had so many outlets more to go. I only settled for a Zara top and boyfriend blazers, which I had the hardest time to choose between navy blue and grey. So I persuaded Dad to buy me both :p After spending what felt like 4hours in that first outlet, we wanted to chill our mouths with some ice creams. We saw "Es Durian" somewhere along the road and being the biggest Durian fans, we asked Pak Otang to stop. I finally realised it was worth it to walk from the plane to the airport earlier because we didn't have to get out from the car to buy the Es Durian(s). The seller came to our car himself. I told you, the service in Bandung is fabulous!!

The Es Durian tasted so good! They put chocolate syrup on top and pulut hitam(which I gave to Mom since I'm not a fan of pulut). Pak Otang drove us to Toko Tiga next, a denim heaven. Sadly I don't really like the brands. But if you like Levi's, Lee or Wrangler, you're in heaven if you visit Toko Tiga. We didn't waste much time as we were not interested in anything there. We went straight to our first dinner in Bandung. Pak Otang brought us to a restaurant with really nice ambiance. We ate so fast as to not waste our shopping hours. Haha after dinner, I asked Pak Otang to bring us to Rumah Mode as my cousin said Rumah Mode sells Juicy Couture stuffs at very low prices despite it being original. If I said I forgot my family when I stepped into Grande earlier, I think I forgot almost everything when I stepped in Rumah Mode. I pushed myself through the throngs of people and managed to score a few stuffs. Juicy Couture tracksuit was sold at RM50 for the sweater and only RM35 for the matching sweatpants. I managed to get the sweater but only big sizes were left for the pants. The lingeries were all Victoria Secret's and I wanted to fall and die when everything that was left on the racks were all big sizes. Though I kind of expected that since it's an outlet. Outlets are always out of sizes. I bought a Topshop pink leopard printed pajamas though! :) Everything was so cheap, we ended up buying 5 shopping bags there. It was already 10pm when we left Rumah Mode, so the outlets and stores were all closed.

The next day, I woke up the earliest because I was so psyched for our next shopping spree. But Dad had something else in mind : Jungle trekking. I had no clue that we were LITERALLY going into the jungle and climb the mud and rocks. So I wore something inappropriate for the occasion. My Forever21 leopard/zebra printed off-shoulder, tucked in my high waisted jeans and my Topshop baseball jacket on top. The worst part was, I wore my new Vincci black sandals that I love so much. I wanted to cry and run back home when I stepped into too much mud :( But the whole journey of almost 5km in the forest was worth it. The place was named Tangkuban Perahu or some sort. Lucky the weather was so cold, so I didn't produce a single sweat.

I've never liked something adventurous but this time, though I couldn't wait for the whole walking and climbing to be over, I have to admit, I enjoyed it. My favorite part was when we arrived at the bottom of the forest, where the volcano's lava was formerly at, we had the chance to soak our feet in the sulphur. I even got my legs massaged using the sulphur! (Y) I didn't want the massage at first since everyone knows how sensitive I am when it comes to my feet. But I figured, when will I get this chance again? Probably never, so I just went for it :)

After soaking our feet, we stopped at a Hotspring to have our lunch for a little while. We went back to the city of Bandung to resume our shopping spree. The journey to Bandung from Tangkuban Perahu took 2hours, all of us fell asleep in the car. Pak Otang brought us to a bags/shoes outlet but we weren't so happy about the place because it was kind of expensive compared to other outlets. We left with nothing and went on to the next outlets. There were a lot of outlets, so it's impossible for me to type everything. But the best place was definitely Rumah Mode and the second was Pasar Baru! We spent the whole day at Pasar Baru on our second last day. It was worth it because Dad bought 3 Juicy bags for me :p And I had the most delicious Coconut Ice ever in my life! Not to mention the Durian Ice and the Fried Bebek(duck) rice! Mmmm, just typing it makes me hungry..

I was so sad to leave the next day and ranted why Dad didn't decide to stay longer. But Dad insisted we will visit Bandung again soon. For Raya shopping, probably. Can't wait! :D

PS : I'm sleepy at the moment, so excuse any grammar errors or whatever :)

One night trip to Kuantan

Last Tuesday, my family and I went all the way to Kuantan for my little brother's interview with MRSM boarding school. Dad insisted on going with Mom and little brother, without Nina and I tagging along but we figured it would be boring to stay home without doing anything. So being stubborn as we are, we tagged along. Little did we know the whole trip would be so tiring. All we did was spent time in the car, tossed and turned, trying to find a good position to sleep without taking each other's spaces and we didn't know sitting in the car for hours can absorb so much energy.

I couldn't even find one decent photo of me in Kuantan in the camera because in all the photos, I looked either sleepy or exhausted. In which case, this photo falls under the latter. We had dinner at some seafood restaurant which tasted just okay. And we went to the beach to take photos but like I said, all the photos ended up the same. It rained after taking a few hideous photos, so we had to run to the car with muds all over my sandals. Not good.

We had breakfast at the hotel we stayed in the next morning. I had pancakes which tasted so good! Then off to another hour of uncomfortable-ness in the car as the boarding school is located somewhere in Pekan. We had to wait for my little brother in the hall and finally, achieved some pretty nice pictures. But of course, nice photos don't include my face in it.

I asked/forced Nina to take photos of my 'kind of' essentials : My watch, my fox ring and my brown Alexa. These become my favorites ever since I bought them :) Okay, I plead guilty for not listening to the talk that was happening at that time and took photos instead. The talk was boring and not like it had anything to do with me. So cut me some slacks :p

After the talk, we went straight back to Subang, had a quick early dinner at McDonald's and went back home. Everyone was so tired and we all went to bed as early as 8pm. That's how tired we were from spending hours in the car!

From Beijing, with ♥

Beijing was tiring but the shopping experience was super awesome. I can't even begin to describe how it felt to bargain like a mad woman until they call you crazy for bargaining at low prices but they will eventually give up and let you have your price even if the original price was 1000 plus Yuan but you bargain for 80 Yuan. Yes, it might sound ridiculous but that's how Beijing handle their businesses. From 1000 to 80, I must admit, it wasn't easy. They will persuade you to increase the price a little but my mom taught me how to be tough during bargaining, so in the end of the trip, I own a mustard colored Marc Jacobs, 2 Mulberry(s), one suede Juicy's tracksuit, a pair of Juicy's flops and a pair of red Ugg's boots. I bought all of that and the 500 Yuan Daddy gave me before the trip still hadn't finished. Believe it or not, I still have extra 150 Yuan. Which means I splurged on all those goodies for just RM175. I certainly can't get all those here in Malaysia for that price, be it original or not. The quality are also as awesome as the price, I think Marc Jacobs himself would cry looking at how neat the workmanships are despite the freaking low prices. The stuffs in China look exactly like the ones they sell in their boutiques. They even give you the authenticity card and the way they wrap the bags and I went all crazy when I see they placed the flip flops in a Juicy Couture's shoe box, just like the ones they give in the real store. I know the feeling won't be the same as the feeling when you get to buy the real thing but to me, it's kind of satisfying enough for now. I can always buy the original when I actually have the money or when I make my own money in the future. For now, this is more than enough as I'm nowhere near a spoil brat that wants everything to be straight from the real boutiques. All I have to say is Beijing is a shopping heaven!

Everytime we touch

Now that I have submitted all my assignments and my 3 weeks holidays have arrive, I shall focus more on my books as my finals are coming up right after the holidays. Let's see if I can keep up with the books through out the holidays. LET'S SEE.

I have news! For first, I'll be going to Beijing! My family and I are going on November 12th and will be there till the 17th. I can't wait to stroll on Beijing's roads and buy everything on my sight. China might not be my favorite country in the world, but I heard they sell very cheap but pretty stuffs. Daddy has been on our noses since last week to bring out our winter coats and boots to prepare as the temperature there has been in the negatives. The second is Mommy and Daddy have been giving me the green light to go for a holiday with my friends to Bangkok. Wow, seeing how my parents never let me go on trips with my friends even to the nearest beach or whatever, it's unbelievable that they gave me the thumbs up to fly to Bangkok without their supervisions. They said that after going there last weekend, they realised that it's safe there in Bangkok. However, I'm not sure whether to take up on their generous offer. Another shocking news, they also gave me the nod when I asked them if I could fly to Kelantan for a holiday with the girls. I know, what has gotten into them right? Lol. They said it's good that I make friends with people from outside KL as the reason we planned for Kelantan is that Miejah's hometown is in Kelantan and she invited us all to visit after our finals in December. As of now, Daddy is finding the reasonable prices for the tickets. I hope this plan won't go down the drain as I have imagine how fun it will be if we really go on with this plan.

If you haven't heard, I've been sick for almost a week. I have a fever and this terrible headache. Not to mention, I have a couple of things grew on the left side of my neck. Before you could go all eww on me, it's nothing serious according to the doctor. I went to two doctors and mind you, the things are normal when a virus attacks your body. So I have been sleeping a lot these days as I can't keep up with this massive headache. The worst part is, I have to swallow 6 pills every 6 to 8 hours. Can it get any worse?

Home sweet home

People always say 'home sweet home' and I couldn't agree more. I started to realise this when I was actually forced to live away from home. Okay, though my college is just like, 10 to 15 minutes away from home, it's still not the same. Home is just somewhere you want to be at everyday. I know some I'm-a-teenager-and-I'm-too-cool-to-live-with-my-parents really exist in this cruel world but I assure you, I ain't one of them. I love my parents and I DON'T want(or never dream of) living away from parents. Be it if it's only like 3feets away. You can call me a baby or whatever shit you want, I will still love my lovely God given parents and I will still love home best than anywhere else. Well... unless if you count Canada in, then I'll forget all about home. Speaking of which, I really miss Canada. I miss the friendly people, the freezing cold weather, small snow flakes that made our 3layers of clothes and winter jacket wet, the cool streets we walk through, the one dollar shop that sells everything you needed at very low prices, our stops at the park after the long walks to take chocolate breaks, the Niagara Falls that amazed everyone, everything! I remember how Mom and I noticed that all the Canadians smell the same. It was a soothing and elegant smell. Mom and I went to every shop that sells perfumes and smelled each and every bottle of perfumes that were displayed as samples. We went through alot of shops when we found the smell that we've been looking for. It was Christian Dior's Pure Poison. At that time, Malaysia hadn't had Pure Poison, so Mommy bought extra. And how I took every flyers I saw, just for memories. I still have them now and when I miss Canada, I will took out the University of Toronto's hot pink file where I kept all the memories from that trip. Receipts, tags, flyers, plane tickets and everything, and I will look at them one by one, remembering every memory I had with each of them. I seriously miss Canada. Too much that I think I can just drop and die if somebody don't take me to breathe Canada's air soon. I'm not joking!

Because we're together for eternity

Another week past without a single post. Oh great. I went to Singapore last weekend with my family. And came home almost empty handed with almost dislocated legs and numb feet. Singapore was really hectic last weekend because it was Christmas. People were swarming everywhere. Abang and I couldnt find any Topshop/Topman in sight. I dont know why. Managed to get a boxer shorts and a floral skirt. And thats it. Im serious. After all the walking, I actually didnt buy anything. I was so grumpy but then I came to my senses, and realised that it wasnt so bad after all. I didnt buy anything but atleast I spent the whole weekend with my family. Now thats priceless :) Though it was fun in Singapore, I did miss lover. And still missing him now. I havent seen him since Singapore and is so eager to see him today right after my Management class. Yeay!

I bought a floral jacket from Cotton On and I love it! Now how about a leather jacket? :) I dont know why Im so into jackets right now. I think jackets are so cool.

Three of my classes today were canceled. Which gave me time to blog. And now that I've blogged, Im going to take a nap since Im lack of sleep. Au revoir!

London Calling ,

I hadn't blog in a while. Though I've online several times but I didn't come up to blog just because I dont have the mood to do so. The only mood I am in is shopping ! So well, the first place I set foot on was Amsterdam. Amsterdam was okay. Like our previous trip, we went shopping and took photos in front of really old and porno like statues. Haha. After Amsterdam, we stayed in Copenhagen, Denmark for four days. Denmark was great but the prices there were ridiculous ! Seriously, Mng, Zara and Topshop. The prices are a lot more expensive than in Malaysia. So might as well buy it in Malaysia as the clothes are all the same. And so I went searching for brands I couldn't find in Malaysia. There were New Yorker which was pretty awesome. Nice stuffs with good prices. And there was also this store called Ginatricot. I loveeee the clothes there. I felt like buying every single thing ! After Copenhagen, we went to Stockholm, in Sweden. It was the best sight-seeing ever. I mean, I prefer shopping than seeing an old building. But in Stockholm, even I was amused by the buildings and the histories behind every each if the ancient buildings and statues. After spending 2days in Stockholm, we went to Ludvika which is also in Sweden. The most boring place in the whole journey. Yes, I did find a pair of shoes and maybe I did find Mando Diao's tees, but hey, the place was lame. Dull, I must say. I felt sorry for the people who live there. Despite the dull-ness in Ludvika, we went to Malmore, the other part of Sweden and it was nice. The streets were full of stores. But unfortunately, there were like, gazillion people wandering around, so I didnt have the chance to like, REALLY shop. Sigh. After Sweden, we went to Vienna, Austria. Vienna has the best shopping streets ever, I promise. Oh and we found a group of students holding big cardboards with FREE HUGS on it. And so not wanting to miss the chance, Abang, Nina and I went to hug them. They were so cute saying that the free hugs they were giving was to show love for the world. Haha, so cute really :] When we arrived in Italy, I couldnt blink my eyes. Everywhere I walked, there were guys. Hot guys walking around. And they're also friendly. I received several flying kisses and waves from some of them. There are also some guys who came up to me and simply said 'Ciao, bella' which means hey, beautiful. I officially like Italians! :p

And so here I am, in London. Just got back from dinner at a Malay restaurant and got lost. So instead of the supposed to be 2 hours or could be less trip, it became 5hours. I was getting so not in the mood when we got lost because I was sick, with fever and sore throat and it was raining. And second, because I asked Zhr to wait for me to come back online but of course, Malaysia's time isnt the same, and I was really sure he will fall asleep. Yeah he didnt wait for me but I cant blame him. It was really my fault to kept him waiting for five freaking hours. Im sorrrrryyyyyyyyy baby :[ Im now sleepy and so Im gonna hit the sacks. I will definitely tell you about the rest of my trip when I have the time and mood to do so.

Because I want to ,

" Foul whisperings are abroad. "
-Shakespeare
So woke up today at almost 9am. Showered and after everyone were ready, we were on our way to Genting Highlands. We stopped for a little while to eat Baskin Robbins. I wanted my favourite, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough but that Baskin Robbins is not really umm, in well-conditioned. They dont even have daddy's favourite, Jamoca Almond Fudge. I mean like, hello ? I thought every BR has Jamoca. Its the most like-able flavour. Oh well, I ended up eating Maui Brownie, my third choice as my second, Chocolate Mousse Royale wasnt available there either. So I read my new book the whole time I was in the car. Arrived up there around 12. Soon as I got out from the car, I was practically frozen ! I didnt expect it to be ice cold. I had my black shorts on and I felt like a total dunderhead wearing it. Thank God I wore two pieces on top and long sleeved. Im pretty sure I wont be able to move if I was wearing short sleeved top. So then, mommy and Abang went to buy the tickets for us. And got ourselves inside the theme park. It was drizzling and that most certainly made the weather twice as cold. Maybe even thrice. So we went straight to the Pirate Ship but it was closed due to the bad weather. So we decided to ride other rides but they were all closed. We decided to go indoor and find a place to eat. When we were in the midst of searching for food, my eyes caught something else. A store with 5 big letters on top. MANGO. Ohh la la. Haha it was an outlet, not the boutique. So i forced daddy to go, and as I stepped inside, the prices really impressed me. A pair of blue flats just for RM49 ? A tshirt for RM19 ? a purse for RM49 ? Pair of very stylish skinny pants for RM65 ? Oh my eyes were practically popping out. As I was snatching all things I found nice and worth buying, mommy then had to ruin my excited-ness and said we'll come back later after the theme park as its hard to ride anything if we have so many bags in our hands. So i had to put the stuffs I picked earlier with a heavy heart. Sighh. So we continue our search for food. After like 8 restaurants, we still couldnt find a descent place to eat. Ended up eating at Marrybrown. I knoww right, I thought Marrybrown were extinct. Anywhooo, I was starved and ordered fish n chips. It was unexpectedly delicious. After eating, we went to theme park again hoping the rides will be open. And yes, they were. So we were having so much fun on the first right on Pirate Ship. To the Tobbagon, then to the Mine train, Cyclone etc. I must say, I like Mine train and Pirate ship the most and therefore rode them twice. But I didnt have the nerve to ride Space Shot, Corkscrew and the new spiderman thingy. Im a chicken, I knoww. I really dont understand how people can ride the really scary ones. I would be in a comma if I ride one of those. Lol. I had to borrow Abang's sweater to keep me warm. But that sweater wasnt much a help either. So i just have to stand the expected to be 15Celsius temperature. After blistering my foot, cramping my whole body, blotch-ing my nose and numb-ing my fingers, I urged daddy to go back. I was so freezing cold. We left Genting feeling exhausted but happy (: We went to Shah Alam to eat near daddy's office. When we arrived, we saw daddy's office bright with lights. It was almost 12am, who could be there ? Turned out to be one of daddy's worker there, working ? Noo, he was not. Sleeping ? Nope, not that either. Guess what ? Watching porno. Yes, a 40 something years old man, watching that. Okayy, gross. So anyway, daddy told us that he had been watching those stuffs for quite a while now. Daddy had blocked the Internet access to any porn websites but then he brought cds to the office. Truckloads of them. Whats wrong with him ? Addicted, much ? Ewww !
Oh and you know, as I was riding the Tobbagon, that ride requires only one person, so I had to go alone. And as that thing was moving so freaking fast, my hair got stucked. I panicked and quickly pull my head and managed to get free. I was relieved -___- Oh and we end up going back at almost 10pm. Meaning, NO MNG ! Shoot, shoot, shoot ! Ahhhh I really want those flats, that skinny, that purse, that everything ! ): But anyway, I still had fun riding all those rides and I had fun with my family (:
Sooo, daddy said he doesnt want me to go out tomorrow. But I've promised Zhr and I want to meet him. Im looking forward to see him. Sighh, lets just hope daddy will change his mind tomorrow. Hope so. As for now, my thighs are screaming, my back aches, and everything on my body hurts. Might as well get some rest now. Cheers (:

One day, Saturday

I fell asleep while texting Zhr last night. Prove I was very tired. I woke up at 7am and received a really sweet text from Zhr. I managed to smile to myself before falling back asleep. Woke up half an hour to 11, and showered. Came online before breakfast but got fed up with the oh so stupid internet -__- After setting my laptop to standby mode, I dragged myself to the kitchen, took out the cereal box and ate a few pieces of honey stars straight from the box without fresh milk. Then, I didnt know what to do, so I went in mommy's room. As I entered the room, the first sentence that came out from daddy's mouth was 'you're getting fatter' Ahhh yes, the words I loathe so much coming out from anyone's mouth. I pretended I didnt hear him to ease myself. But ofcourse, daddy's in his funny mood and tried to annoy me by saying it again and again. Way to go, dad -__- I then shot him a look, and said, yeah I know. So ? Then he laughed at me ! Good God. Haha. Oh well, later I went back to my room, took my top off and stand in front of my bed room mirror for like an hour. I stand in every possible angles. Lol, could I be obsess ? Maybe, whatever. After hearing daddy's blissful words, I was determined to start dieting back. But then, mommy had to cook a very delicious looking meal, and I ate. Like usual, I regretted eating and drank a glass of lemonade without sugar hoping it will help me cleanse. And yes, it helps. Alot. Thankyou, lemonade ! Lol

Okayy, daddy just told me to get ready. Genting, here I come ! Okay I know its not Disneyland, but at least Im not bored at home, eat and sleep, hence increasing the size of my arse. Lol. Bye !
